In recognition for his contributions to and years of service in the recycling industry, ISRI presented Sam Gershowitz with its 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Gershowitz received the award for his commitment to the industry, his employees, and his philanthropic work.

ISRI’s Lifetime Achievement Award honors Gershowitz’s vision and tenacity in creating what is now one of Long Island’s best-known and largest environmental and manufacturing companies.

The Award was presented to Mr. Gershowitz during ISRI’s 2020 Virtual Awards Ceremony on October 21.
